Most Guest Generals only get one chance to help the Washington Generals finally get that win against the Harlem Globetrotters. Alan Sanchez was the rare Guest General to get two shots at it.
A reporter for the morning show "Good Day Sacramento" airing on CW 31 in Sacramento California, Alan Sanchez apparently had so much fun being heckled by the Globetrotters showmen, he decided to do it not twice but three times.
He first played the Harlem Globetrotters in 2009 at the Arco Arena in Sacremento. The following two games Sanchez was called in for were both at the Stockton arena in Stockton, California.
Clearly by the third game Alan had learned some game. In his latest outing as a Guest General, Sanchez managed to score a three pointer by Special K's challenge. Unfortunately, he then fell flat on his face attempting the next shot. Making him manage to represent both the best and worst moments in a Guest Generals short life.
Who knows if Sanchez will be back to take on the trotters once more next season. Clearly, just like the team he plays for Sanchez doesn't know the meaning of the word die. And in that way it is possible he has never been more at home than on the court donning the green and gold.
